How is one gothic? How can you label a person gothic because they wear all black and listen to dark music?
I always thought goth was in the heart, the soul. Not the outward appearance. Could I be wrong?
I am rather pale. I hate being outside around noon-time, so I'm not. I'm not bone skinny and ethereally beautiful.
I probably never will be (although I might be happier haha!) and I don't strive to be.
I don't wear black all the time, though it is one of my favorite colors. I prefer to wear blue.
I don't wear boots with everything, I'm happy in a pair of sketchers (gasp at the thought!) or in a pair of sneakers.
My hair isn't black, I looked sickly with black hair. No, it's usually some sort of Red.
But...
I love the night. Especially cool fall nights. I love the rain. I love the way the dark music moves me, like hearing
a lover whisper to you. I love gothic churches. Cemeteries always have a special meaning.
I love my corset even though I have no place to wear it. I love black skirts. I love my blue & black
jelly bracelets. And I love my cloves.
So what does that make me?
I suppose I made this page as a rambling place. For my ideas, my thoughts, my opinions.
I could have put this on my page about me, but I liked it better this way.
I got my tongue pierced at Capitol Tattoo in Silver Spring, MD in October two days before I got married.
If you're in that area and thinking about getting it done, they were perfect! No where near the pain I had
heard about before I went there. I thought I'd give them a little boost here :)
I started writing poetry when I was 15. I have this huge collection that is in pieces around my house.
The beginning pieces were all about vampires and I personally think they were awful.
I hope to have a book one day of the more mature and obscure poetry that I've been writing in the last
couple years. If you haven't already, visit my poetry page. I've written one short story
(really short) and I have a few in progress. When I say progress, it's a really long progress.
Well CJ & I are doing well for those of you who know us. We haven't been smoking any cloves lately, just plain ol' menthols. I actually had someone sign my guestbook and *try* to chew me a new one because the label of this page was "smoking cloves"...ok...did anyone ever hear of creative titles? Did anyone ever think "Hey..this is part of her, who am I to judge?" Geez people...if you want to be offended at something, take a look at yourself or the way you live. Please don't turn your eyes to me because you're only likely to get a nasty response. And I do so hate to be nasty to people. Anyhow..on to some more happy things.

I love my cats and my frogs and my snake. The puppy went away, he couldn't come up here to live in MD because they don't allow him in the townhouse. They come before humans, well after my husband, before anyone else.
I don't have any pictures of my frogs or my snake on the computer yet. I also just recently acquired two hamsters (they are so evil to be so cute!) and two mice that I'm breeding to feed their little children to my snake! I don't have any pictures of them yet either. I have a bad knack of forgetting to
develop film. I love photography. I'm not very good at it but I love it. I'm getting better and
better at digital imaging. Well manipulating images really.
Right now I use Micrografx Picture Publisher, Adobe PhotoDeluxe, & MGI PhotoSuite SE.
These are not hard to get programs. They did not cost me an arm and a leg.
Although Micrografx wasn't purchased by me, so that program might have ??
I work at Focus Telecommunications now. My first job I've returned back to. I love it. Their website is www.focustele.com if you're looking for a job.
As some of you know I was in Arkansas for about 2 years and I've finally moved back to Maryland with my hubby. I'm so much happier here. I'll have to put new pictures up of my roommate - our ton of pets - and random other stuff. Right now I'm working on a new website called Ethereal Blue. You know you can't wait to see it! And really neither can I since it's taking so long to finish! It seems like there is always something else that needs to be done. It's also been pushed back because we are getting ready to move.
I suppose that's all for now. I'm going to go have a cup of coffee & a cigarette...
